Prof. Dr. Sergi Jorbenadze: Blockchain and Digitalisation in Georgia (Presence and online lecture)
Prof. Sergi Jorbenadze has years of knowledge and experience in business and media law and is an associate professor at Ivane Javakhishvili University (TSU) in Tbilisi, Georgia. After completing his studies at TSU, Sergi Jorbenadze completed an LL.M degree at the University of Bremen in 2010 and an LL.M degree at TSU in 2011. In 2016, Sergi Jorbenadze obtained the degree of Doctor of Law (PhD). Prof. Jorbenadze lectures in private and commercial law and is the author of more than 30 academic articles, five books and numerous publications in German published in renowned journals. Prof. Sergi Jorbenadze is also a founding partner and general director of JG Counselors, an international commercial law firm, and works with his clients on a wide range of business transactions and media law issues. Sergi Jorbenadze is also an arbitrator at the LTD „Dispute Resolution Center“ in the areas of commercial, insurance and banking law.

Prof. Dr. Lika Sajaia: Challenges of freedom of expression and Anti-Slapp regulation in Georgia (Online
lecture)
Prof. Lika Sajaia holds a PhD in law from Tbilisi State University (2014). She was also a PhD student and researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property and Competition Law in 2008-2009, where she also conducted research on copyright law. She is the author of various academic articles and has worked in academic university administration for various higher education institutions since 2007. She is currently Parliamentary Secretary at Transparency International Georgia. She has experience in the public sector as well as in the Regional Centre for Research and Promotion of Constitutionalism. Prof. Sajaia has worked in the Georgian Parliament in the Committee on Legal Affairs and has drafted several laws passed by the Georgian Parliament.

Prof. Dr. Zhou Lin: Breaking the fog of technology – an analysis of several recent copyright cases in
China (Presence and online lecture)
Prof. Zhou Lin is the Executive Director of the Intellectual Property Center of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) in Beijing and one of the most important copyright lawyers in his country. After studying in Beijing, he worked for a long time as a lawyer in intellectual property law. From 1989 to 1995, he worked at the National Copyright Administration of China. He then worked at the Beijing Intermediate Court, deciding IPR cases with a focus on copyright and trademark law. Since then, he has also been an advisor to the Beijing and Shanghai courts. He is actively involved in the development of China’s current copyright law and participated, among other things, in the drafting of China’s first copyright law in 1990. In addition, Prof. Zhou Lin has also published a number of writings that are unique in the Chinese legal literature, such as the case collection „China Court Cases on Intellectual Property Rights“, which is the first annotated collection of court decisions on Chinese intellectual property law.
